Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Game Master Schedule (the “Service”), operated at gmschedule.com. By using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who can use the Service
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the authority to enter into these Terms.
2. Your account
Game Masters sign in with Google or with a magic-link email. You are responsible for the security of the email account you use to sign in. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Players who vote on a session do not need an account; they enter only a name and may optionally provide an email.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Post or transmit content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes the rights of others.
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its data, or its underlying infrastructure.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach any security or authentication measures.
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service except for well-behaved search-engine indexing.
- Use the Service to send spam, phishing, or other unsolicited communications.
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service (session titles, descriptions, time options, player names, notes, etc.). By submitting content you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and transmit that content for the sole purpose of operating and improving the Service.
You are solely responsible for the content you submit. We do not pre-screen content but may remove content that we believe violates these Terms.
5. Plans, limits, and pricing
The Free plan permits a limited number of active sessions per account, with a limited number of player responses per session, as displayed in the Service. We may change these limits or pricing for paid plans at any time, with reasonable notice for material changes.
6. Service availability
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we provide it “as is” without uptime guarantees. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your conduct creates risk or legal exposure for us or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or domain names.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DATA YOU STORE WILL BE PRESERVED.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or damages, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service shall be the state or federal courts located in California.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, provide notice through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
